Interesting. The piece (on GB News) includes a video (2:30) of Farage’s reaction to slurs made against him by Two Tier Kier in his Labia party conference speech, and a short clip from a GB News interview with 2TK at 6am today.

Its a bit of a stretch to blame Farage but absolutely right that Brexit contributed to the increase in small boat crossings. It was widely predicted that this would happen before Brexit, and It would still be a problem remaining in the EU. Solving it requires a strict policy of refusing entry and indefinite detention of anyone who enters illegally from a safe country which is possible in or out of the EU with the same problem of nobody wanting to set up detention camps within the UK.
The massive increase in legal migration was entirely down to Brexit. This was the economic plan of most of those who campaigned for brexit, for example the ERG. It’s what was meant by increasing competitiveness by reducing regulation. Mass immigration of low wage, low skill workers was the Brexit plan.
Is it fair to blame Farage for this? Not entirely, but he shoudl take some responsibility for immigration exploding as a direct result of Brexit. I do find it immensely annoying that he complains about immigration increasing when he was partly responsible.
