Mike Buchanan interviewed about positive discrimination on BBC London 94.9 (2014). File #54 of 800+ files on the J4MB YouTube channel.

Today’s file is here (23:05). The timeline is in the file description. I followed a female New Statesman and Guardian “journalist”, what are the chances? An extract:

“In the last minute of my interview (22:15) after I’d presented numerous rational arguments against positive discrimination, and explained a few of the many ways in which men and boys have long been disadvantaged in Britain, Ms Barnett trotted out this gem: “Do you like women, Mike?”

Over a period of more than two years we’re posting links to one video daily from the J4MB YouTube channel. The channel includes our media appearances since 2012, 300+ videos of talks and other materials from the International Conferences on Men’s Issues (2014 – ) and other men’s issues conferences we’ve been involved with, and so much more. The individual conference playlists are here.

Our website Campaign for Merit in Business was created in the light of the considerable evidence of a causal link between increasing gender diversity on boards and corporate financial decline. Mike Buchanan, Steve Moxon and Dr Catherine Hakim (the originator of Preference Theory) presented evidence to House of Commons and House of Lords inquiries in 2012, the video of their House of Commons evidence session is here (56:50).

Finally, we run the award-winning website Laughing at Feminists. The comedy channel (170+ videos) is here. Remember, it’s more than important to laugh at feminists, it’s a civic duty.

  1. It’s the default weapon in their armoury against rational argument. Often, you can tell that they aren’t really listening, but simply waiting to drop the question which will close you down, and render all of your carefully-constructed, well researched points irrelevant. In fact, if you aren’t absolutely eating out of their hand, they’ll already be waiting to play what they see as their ace in the hole, leaving the question hanging there, casting doubt on one’s character and motivations in the hive minds of the easily influenced.

    “Don’t you like women…?”

    (tumbleweed eventually blows past…)
