  1. Of course the feminists on the UN have been pushing the ideological view rather than evidence based. But why does no one query how it is the UN , a body set up the prevent the catastrophes of the Wars of the 20th century and help address famines and pandemics. Has the time ,money and remit to intervene in the operation of family law within peaceful stable nations? One would have thought there were Wars, disasters and famines enough to keep UN officials very busy. No wonder some want a DOGE review of the bloated edifice.

    • I wonder if the same UN would do the same to the countries of the UN officials, or perhaps a religious state such as KSA, or Russia or China. I suspect all these countries would tell the UN to go and do one.

The UN is a body not focused on the global well-being but on rather trying to be relevant.

Rather like the UN body on refugees which has changed from a post war organisation to deal with the impact of war upon nations populace into one which is focused on promoting and enabling migration upon nations whose populace have not agreed( regardless of how many fools pretending to be a govt acting on behalf of said nation sign conventions without critical thinking). This is an organisation( immigration) that is riding on a very heavy budget( conveniently paid for by our own govt, in turn taxpayers)

I still haven’t forgotten that a UN body( UN women) who tried to force compulsory male genital mutilation ( circumcision is the watered down label) in an African country because they read a report about Langerhans cells role in HIV, whilst conveniently forgetting that the same report pointed out that women have them as well…

the UN is Rules for thee, but not for me.

we need to remove ourselves from the multitude of conventions and agreements that are no longer fit for purpose( rather like the ECHR)

      • Thanks Rob. It was the WHO (part of the UN) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (along with others) which started the initiative to circumcise 20+ million sub-Saharan men in a supposed bid to reduce the spread of Aids. The men are told that if circumcised they won’t contract Aids or other STDs, which encourages them to later have sex without condoms, which increases the likelihood of Aids transmission.

From our 112 video playlist on MGM, a video from 2015 titled, “WHO/UNAIDS are mutilating the genitals of 20 million Sub-Saharan males”:
