I don’t think we’ve ever had an email from a Chinese person (living in China) before. Our thanks to J for this, it takes up the remainder of this blog piece:
Hi sir!
I’m a student from China. I experienced a lot of unfair treatment in school as a boy. Also, I have seen how far extreme feminists have gone in China, I hope you can read this.
The online discourse nowadays in China is a circus. When men work hard, they’re called “grinding dogs”; when women work hard, they’re “career queens.” When men talk about money, they’re “materialistic and greasy”; [J4MB: greedy?] when women talk about money, they’re “clear-headed and independent.”
When men complain, it’s “mansplaining”; when women complain, it’s “brave speaking out.”
On Weibo and Douban, those extreme feminists yell every day “all men are potential rapists” and “men deserve to die,” and the platforms don’t give a damn. But if a man dares to say “feminism has gone too far,” his account gets banned instantly.
In online dramas, demonizing men has become the norm—fathers are either dumb or evil, husbands are either cheating or useless. Meanwhile, the female lead must be strong and independent, even if it makes zero sense, just to fit the “girlboss” fantasy.
Even worse, some platforms shout about “gender equality” while ruthlessly suppressing male victim stories. When a woman is domestically abused? Entire internet explodes in anger, trending everywhere, millions showing support. When a man is abused? Comment section full of “LOL, what kind of loser gets beaten by his wife?” “He must’ve deserved it,” “Haha, another henpecked husband!”
The education system is basically a massive brainwashing camp now, feeding boys the idea from day one (this is personal experience):
“You must yield to girls,” “Men should always be tolerant toward women.”
Girls steal your stuff? Teacher says, “You’re a boy, don’t be petty.”
Girls hit you first? Teacher says, “Girls are emotional, it’s normal.”
Girls start shit deliberately? Teacher says, “A real man doesn’t fight girls.”
Meanwhile those girls grow more arrogant by the day, pushing their luck shamelessly.
And worst of all, law is supposed to be fair for everyone but as I delve into legal texts, I find that this ‘women first’ mentality has permeated judicial practice. According to 2022 data from the Supreme Court, the registration rate for domestic violence cases involving men is only 18.7%, much lower than 91.3% for women; in divorce cases, fathers’ custody rights are granted only 31.5% of the time, 37 percentage points lower than mothers; in cases of intentional injury, women are 42% more likely to receive probation compared to men. A 2021 survey by the Guangdong Women’s Federation revealed that in school violence incidents, the proportion of girls being seriously disciplined after committing violence is less than one-third that of boys. For instance, in January 2023, in Gulu District, Xuzhou, despite the husband Zhang providing hospital injury reports and surveillance of his wife chasing him with a knife, the police refused to file a case citing ‘family conflict’. In the same year, in May, in the same jurisdiction, Wang (female) reported being pushed by her husband and the case was immediately investigated and filed.
Furthermore, in a bar brawl case in March 2021 in Xiacheng District, Hangzhou, Wang (male) was sentenced to 10 months for causing minor injuries at Level 2, whereas 13 days later in the same area, Li (female) also caused Level 2 minor injuries in a similar altercation but received only a 6-month sentence.
Overall, I cannot express in words how much I appreciate and respect your work, I hope when I grow up I can be just like you sir! [J4MB emphasis: What a noble ambition!]
With all respect,
J.

Interesting to hear. China has the same fundamental human problems as everywhere else on the globe. The cheap fossil fuel energy resources which have facilitated a population explosion are beginning to falter, and Governments need to reduce populations. Having already done this overtly in the case of China, they have reverted to the Western model, covert population reduction through ’empowering’ women.
Gerry Alexander made a presentation on this ‘The Role of Feminism in Population Control’ at ICMI24. The video is available on YouTube, and the 1974 Kissinger Memorandum NSSM200 features prominently. It’s interesting, in the light of current events, that the report talks explicitly about the likelihood of USA requirement for minerals from abroad in the near future.
The theory behind the use of feminism is simple. Give a woman a job, instead of a man, and there goes another man who may never pair bond with a woman, and form a family. V C Wynne-Edwards referred to male employment as man’s ‘licence to breed’. That licence is slowly being revoked. The effect is much more subtle than ‘one woman in employment, one man out of employment.’ For the employed woman, an entire strata of men are now, somehow, ‘beneath’ her, and will not be considered as partners.
Even worse, it is not impossible that both east and west are, thereby, building up stocks of ‘bare branches’, frustrated masculinity seeking an outlet, a useful resource in the coming conflicts over energy and minerals for energy storage. This was predicted by the feminist Valerie Hudson, in her 2004 book ‘Bare Branches’.

According to the YouTuber, The Chinese Historian, China now has 60% divorce rate. The normal work culture is now 9:9:6. That’s 9am to 9pm, 6 days a week. China has impressed the world with it’s advances. But at what price ?

The race for economic superiority between nations has reached a stage where it is likely to impinge upon male mating strategies and his drivers for life in general. Being rewarded with a 60% divorce rate for a 9:9:6 lifestyle is already at the stage where he must be ready to check out completely, leading to spectacular collapse.
We already know that feminists, and their enablers, simply do not know where to stop. They don’t know when to say…”ENOUGH!!”
But, men do.

interesting . Really a reminder of the deep roots of gynocentric culture. China, in the form of it’s ruling communist party, I’d officially feminist and dedicated to dismantling traditional gender relationships to end the lies of kinship. About 2020 the gov. Declared that education would teach martial thinking and virtue in school. As it needed to expand it’s forces for ambitious future plans. And we all know which sex he was targeting for this responsibility. The result is of course that what doesn’t change is expectations from males, but gynocentric culture still privileges women even though they now have no responsibilities or obligations.
