Glad to see this has got into the Telegraph and DM. Royal Marines in DEI row over women on front line The Marine is exactly right abut the reduction in overall standards, because it is the only lawful way to ensure women get in. As the piece points out the Army has been on this tack since 2016 and in all that time barely a handful of women have made the grade. Which gives the “top brass” a big headache. Because in the 1980 and 90s organisations had different standards for men and women for entry into the Police for instance. However this was proved to be unlawful and sex discrimination against men who didn’t meet the men’s standards but did exceed the women’s standards. The legal logic being that if the women’s standards represented an the standards required for the job, then requiring a higher standard from men was direct discrimination against men. And so if the Marine top brass want to get more than a very tiny number of women into the Marines they will have to lower the standard and only require a “pass”, they can’t demand a much higher standard from men, because in effect they are saying the required standard for the job is the lower one! So the reality is, whatever the sophistry and jargon used, the Marines will have to lower the standards for entry, for all, and cannot favour the candidates who may well considerably exceed these “standards”. Effect over time the caliber of all recruited will drop! This is exactly what we have seen in the Police, Fire, Army and navy. The Airforce too until one of their own “whistle blew”.

And of course the “TERFs” should support this man. For they go to great pains to point out even an eunuch taking female hormones is a danger to women boxers in Olympic bouts. So obviously a woman is at huge risk if pitted against a fit male marine from an aggressor nation, and of little help to her comrades! Yet the very same TERfs have records “demanding” more women in Police and military services. No one ever seems to challenge them on this; if it is a terrible thing to have eunuchs involved in sport because they present such a huge danger to women, how come women are just fine in the considerably less controlled and regulated arena of mortal combat?
