6 thoughts on “James Esses: Starmer’s hypocrisy on the rape gangs”
Way back when I received “safeguarding briefings” on the then scandal the data we were given was that from the then known prosecutions the non-white proportion of prosecutions were 20% of the overall prosecutions but these accounted for 80% of the known victims. These two figures indicated the very different nature of the “grooming gangs”. And because prosecutions could only include the best witness victims not all the MoJ estimated that from the then known cases overall there were well above 10,000 victims associated with these cases. Hailf of hom were in council care or on child protection registers. So I am entirely dubious of the later claims that ethnicity isn’t recorded. And even if they were estimates (the total now estimated is 20,000 victims) these made this the most egregious failure of child protection ever. The final point is of course that as these case have come to court and been investigated over the past 4 years they are what has contributed to an increase in sexual crimes, not such myths as “rape culture”.
Yes all too often these get described as ” in northern towns” as if somehow that makes them remote and far from London. Throughout the period there was “me too”, ” pest minster” , “rape culture” in schools and University and the third incarnation of the entirely mythical ” injecting” of “spiking”. All focused on strait white young males supposed misogyny. While all the time hiding the sheer scale of real victimisation by a comparatively small but widespread group. I note the London mayor’s obfuscations and I’m convinced there is a massive scandal yet to be uncovered in the Greater London area. I simply don’t believe the capital is free from this.
It always amuses me how little those who profess to love Europe and the EU actually pay attention to Europe. Being a europhile (but brexiteer as the EU is an institution not Europe) it is interesting to learn from our near neighbours. In Sweden 63% of convicted rapists are migrants or from migrant families. https://portal.research.lu.se/en/activities/almost-two-thirds-of-those-convicted-of-rape-in-sweden-are-first-#:~:text=Almost%20two%2Dthirds%20of%20those,%2D%20Lund%20University As our institutions obfuscate and claim not to record the data, which is of course either a lie or a dereliction of their duty to record such data under the Equality Act Equality Duty. It would seem reasonable to assume the better data collection in Sweden gives a good picture of this issue. Remembering that in Sweden the recent migrant communities are a much smaller proportion of their total population. The truth is clearly that concerns about sexual crimes are best targeted on those without our traditions of chivalry and gynocentricism, which brings public vilification on those even accused let alone convicted. Yet feminists such as Jess Phillips busily accuse white British men of patriarchy and misogyny demanding the end of trial by jury and schools teach boys they are all potential rapists, while doing their best to hide the real danger to young women in their constituencies, to keep their sectarian voters sweet. Much is made of the racial/ ethnic side of these scandals. But there is also a feminist hypocrisy to be exposed, that leading feminists are willing to ignore the plight of young white women because it distracts from their agenda to get one over white men and secure their power base.
I’m sure Jess as much as Kier are happy to see the nation obsess about a pathological teenager’s insane rampage at a children’s dance session, rather than give space to a scandal that rocks the multicultural and feminist orthodoxies.
When feminists turn a blind eye to the sickening abuse of 12 year old girls, this could be the biggest mistake they have ever made. The feminist Home Secretary wishes to equate ‘misogyny’ with terrorism. And fellow feminist Jess Phillips, who is the ‘Safeguarding Minister’ is constantly launching initiatives to ‘help women spot perpetrator behaviour’. Yet, their selective blindness on this issue has thrown young girls to the wolves – in order to protect and promote a feminist narrative that the ills of society stem from a white male power base.
Men care about women (even though this may be largely non-reciprocal). When it can be demonstrated that feminists don’t care about young women, this can be called out. And, because young women are the undoubted victims here, society WILL take notice.
Any ongoing enquiries into the cover-ups associated with the grooming gangs scandals will make these feminists squirm. Both Ms Cooper and Ms Phillips, and many, many others can be reminded of their past and ongoing failures to deal with these atrocities, each and every time they call for some spurious new ‘initiative’ against their real enemies.
I hadn’t really realised it previously, but Mr Musk is a rather clever man in bringing this matter back to public attention.
As our society is very gynocentric it is those areas where feminists are clearly standing against protecting girls and women that show up the hypocrisy and the “elite” nature of the ideology (its about preferencing already very privileged middle class white women). The grooming gangs cover up is a salient example of willingness to ignore abuse of the “wrong sort” of girls and then actively cover it up for political expediency while the “terf wars” show up the inherent illogicality of the ideology and its lack of sense; for how can it be that biology is a minor issue if you insist that no women would win anything if there aren’t sex segregated sports etc. yet the same biological differences are denied in the Police, Fire and Armed forces? In reality it is issues about protecting girls and women, and possibly pre puberty boys, that galvanise support from men and women. A lesson feminists learned way back in the 70s when they took over the issue of domestic violence, which along with “rape” remains at the centre of all their demands; from quotas for women executives to getting “unwanted compliments” registered as non crime hate incidents!
And what an indictment of our elites that it takes an American to get “us” to bother about the abuse of 20,000 of our own people. but thank goodness he did.

Starmer is dependent on votes from these communities, so of course he will seek appeasement.
Keeping these atrocities in the public eye erodes his position. https://www.spiked-online.com/2025/01/23/the-grooming-gangs-scandal-is-far-worse-than-you-think/
It took an ITV documentary on the Post Office scandal for the public to awake from its slumber.
