Interesting. But the following quotation from National Secular Society human rights lead Dr Alejandro Sanchez is disappointing, to put it mildly. I know from campaigning against MGM at Speakers’ Corner over a number of years that Muslim males (both men and boys) are profoundly ignorant about the issue (Jewish males tended to be more knowledgeable about the harm but were nonetheless committed to it, including secular Jews, ironically). It follows that Muslim boys would inevitably bow to pressure to be circumcised.
“Boys must be protected from ritual circumcision until they are old enough to decide for themselves whether they wish to undergo the procedure.”
Would Mr Sanchez have stated the following? Surely not.
“Girls must be protected from ritual circumcision until they are old enough to decide for themselves whether they wish to undergo the procedure.”

Justice for Men & Boys 
As that age is 18 for tattoos it should surely be 18 for non medical circumcision.

It should be never, as for FGM. I’m sure you’re aware performing MGM isa criminal offence under OAPA 1861. The law just needs to be enforced, and the butchers threatened with long prison sentences.
