A BBC piece. An extract:
Caroline Liggins, representing the defendant, said: “My client strongly protests her innocence and looks forward to fighting these unjust charges in court.”
The awful woman should receive a custodial sentence, but of course won’t, the court thereby encouraging this sort of behaviour.
My client strongly protests her innocence and looks forward to fighting these unjust charges in court.”
This is the standard response by legal people when defending someone who know they did wrong
I’m sure it will be countered with asking her that if a milkshake or any other substance was thrown over her would she not see it as assault? followed by a response “well it all about context”.
given the number of times farage has been assaulted and the threats and deaths against MP and of course the attempted assination in the US, any claim of “I’m innocent” doesn’t look crediable.
the next step will be the gender card as you said mike..
Every time I hear MPs( especially female ones) complain about fear of attack, I can remind them of situations like this one in which people are encouraged to do so because there are no consequences..
feminists MPs……you reap what you sow…… unfortuantely..
