Here’s one for you:
There’s 3600 women in prison in the uk, and are in for more serious crimes than men, on average. Yet in September, they’re releasing 1000 of them. (Or ‘just under 1000’) which is around 25% of the entire population.
In contrast, just 5% of male prisoners are being released in September.
Thanks Daniel, what we’d expect with a female Home Secretary and Justice Secretary. If the Tories had released similar total numbers, they’d have done something very similar. Will check out links and probably post a new piece.
