Reform close gap on Tories to two points after Farage return

Excellent news (Telegraph, £). YouGov’s first poll since Nigel Farage announced his decision to stand in the coming general election shows Reform up two points to 17 per cent, the Tories down two points to 19 per cent. Hopefully Reform will start polling higher than the Tories in the coming few days, and we’ll start seeing more Tory MPs defecting to Reform. In other good news, the OnlyFans “model” who threw a milkshake at Nigel Farage in Clacton has been charged with assault.

  1. It really is interesting how “woke” has come back to bite feminism. It seems equality was fine and dandy until it started to mean women’s rights are “under threat”. Why we should scrap the Equality Act – spiked (spiked-online.com) As is described the “problem” for the feminists is that their thinking when they lobbied for the Act “The thinking was that, post-transition, males would receive the protections afforded to women, and females who presented as men would not need any additional protections.” has actually happened not for a tiny number with a certificate ,but people who self identify and organisations have moved to make “adjustments”. Of course this exposes that the Act gives preferential treatments to women and not to men. But the feminists have no problem about this “gender gap” rather that this gap is being bridged by the Trans lobby.

Sadly for men the situation is set to get worse if labour win as they plough on with their woke ideology. Doing away with the Equality Act itself may be a political act too far but getting rid of the Equality Duty on all publicly funded bodies, to advantage “underrepresented” groups, would be a good start. Not likely from Labour, nor any mainstream Party.
