  1. This woman has been dating this guy for three months, and she still hasn’t made up her mind on whether she wants him or not? And he hasn’t made up his mind either? What’s wrong with people nowadays?

Some of his requirements made my eyebrows raise.

‘Working on or towards a real career…. No extreme feminist ideologies….’
This guy doesn’t see the contradiction here.

‘Under 25 previous sexual partner count.’
What was that number again? OMG.

    ‘Under 500 social-media followers….’
Somebody with anywhere near that many social-media followers would not have time to have a life.

I despair of the world sometimes.

  2. It’s funny isn’t it that it’s “creepy” for a man to be thinking about what his ideal partner should look like, and sensibly note he’s unlikely to find anyone with the complete list. Yet the popular media has an endless parade of stuff about men who don’t fulfil womens wish lists and women writing about how “gorgeous” they are yet they can’t bag a “good man”. The list, which predates the relationship in the piece, is both sensible in terms of being clear about essential and desireable and shows the bloke was serious in finding a partner. After all “commitment phobe” is the charge laid at men unsure about what they want in a life partner. Big double standards in everything in this piece.
