Justice for Men & Boys 
It’s a rambling mess. As always with feminists seeing the incoherence of it’s own arguments and ending up with the usual assertions of sexual violence and pay gaps etc. Its simple really FIDE, faced with the general shit storm on the topic by playing for time, probably in the hope someone will decide something so that they can claim they’re just following orders. And the writer hits the problem right on the head “Because chess is an intellectual rather than physical sport, FIDE can’t hide behind common transphobic rhetoric like “biological advantage.” Doing so would suggest that those assigned male at birth were smarter than those who were assigned female.” Just as feminists have had to acknowledge biology gives advantages in physical sports they’d have to do the same to argue for “separate development” in Chess or any other such game.
Of course because that’s ideological heresy (palatable for physical sports because in reality comparatively few women actually want to compete in sports) they’re left with the rather unlikely notion that Chess is a hotbed of rampant Male sexual predators who will harass any female chess hopeful.
Popcorn and a hotdog I think. Either FIDE will have to abandon womens chess in favour of open competitions, or declared men naturally better at chess and at advantage simply by biology, or declare open and Male Chess champions to be imbued with “Rape culture” to a man and women therefore need safe spaces to cower from such bulls.
