  1. Indeed Belinda is grounded in the sociological research. Which because the “Anglosphere” of “the west” has 5 decades of growing levels of family breakdown and fatherlessness is actually on a sufficient scale to give good data. The data is there and it’s quite clear, it’s even integral to lots of public policy in state care of children, the push to fostering and adoption, Male role model schemes, attempts to bring positive role models into those at risk of being taken into knife weilding gangs, or county lines gangs and on and on. Yet as Nigel Farrage points out no one in the establishment dares say out loud that all these sticking plasters are addressing the descent into the mayhem that now blights black communities in the USA and the “carribean” community here. As Belinda points out if you tell boys and young men they have no role nor nothing positive to offer you create a vacuum. It was way back in the 60s that a US report warned that ignoring this socialization of boys and men would be a recipe for disaster.
