Carla Foster to be freed from jail after illegally procuring abortion tablets to end pregnancy – as Court of Appeal rules ‘it is a case that calls for compassion, not punishment’

An appalling decision. The inevitable consequence will be large numbers of women ordering abortion drugs when their babies are well past the maximum term for using those drugs. Inevitably, many more late-term babies will suffer agonising deaths as a result. Cue rejoicing from anti-life feminist campaigners.

  1. “Her child, a girl, was born, not breathing, on May 11, 2020.” Its interesting that reference is made to weeks. It takes a slightly different complexion if “8 months” were in the headlines. It is as always interesting how little attention is paid to the tiny life snuffed out. At clearly there was no question that this little girl had every chance of entering the world had her mother not killed her.
