Police plan to cut violence against women tackles incels

More nonsense from the BBC. An extract:

The police report stated: “The gateway to more extreme forms of misogyny are often self-styled ‘men’s rights’ or ‘toxic masculinity’ advocates who promote archaic, demeaning opinions about women and their role in society.”

It added: “We will challenge these unacceptable beliefs and look to establish the scale and potential threat arising from these individuals.”

At least two questions come to mind. Has anyone ever heard of a self-styled toxic masculinity advocate? And since when has it been the job of the police to define and challenge ‘unacceptable’ beliefs? Madness on stilts. Misandry, needless to say, remains an ‘acceptable’ belief.

  1. Well of course the Istanbul convention says you must root out all the “wrong” attitutes. It is virtue signaling hogwash of course, but dangerous in that its about the Police acting beyond the law. Its established that there is no crime in having “inappropriate” views (by a celebrated case of an ex policeman) and there is no right to check these nor even record these hate incidents unless there was evidence of malicious intent. Yet still the Police act beyond their powers. All to cover up that some forces have been lax in “vetting” and monitoring some rogue officers.
