At ICMI16, held in the Excel Centre in London – the capital’s largest events and conferences venue – Tim Hammond, a well-known American intactivist, gave a very well-received talk, Findings of the 2012 Global Survey of Infant Circumcision Harm (video, 44:00). It’s one of 111 video and audio files in our YouTube MGM playlist.
I was pleased to receive this email from Tim earlier this evening, we congratulate him on this recognition of his work:
I’m pleased to announce that my 1995 video documentary, Whose Body, Whose Rights?, has been accepted into and is now accessible for viewing in the American Archive of Public Broadcasting (AAPB). The archive is reserved for select videos that have aired on U.S. Public Broadcasting stations.
I’m honored by the fact that this groundbreaking documentary has the rare distinction of being the first (and likely the only) video in the AAPB collection that explores the topic of male circumcision with a special emphasis on its human rights implications.
In unity for the children,
