UNITED STATES: An interim legal victory in a circumcision case

Our thanks to Steven Svoboda for this:

Attorneys for the Rights of Child is pleased to report an interim legal victory in a circumcision case.

A Massachusetts state trial court has ruled that MassHealth, the state health agency, is violating state law (Massachusetts G.L. c. 29, § 63) by paying for non-medically necessary infant circumcisions. The same court ruled against the plaintiffs on their claim that MassHealth is also thereby violating federal Medicaid law.

Last summer, 28 taxpayers brought suit in Massachusetts under the unique state law allowing taxpayers to challenge an imminent unlawful state expenditure. After ruling on the case this March, the Superior Court referred it to the Massachusetts Appeals Court, Civil Action #2021-P-0318. The Plaintiffs are preparing their appellate brief, due on June 30.

The lead plaintiff in the case is Ronald Goldman, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Circumcision Resource Center. The main attorneys in the case are Peter Adler, formerly ARC’s Legal Advisor, and Attorney Andrew DeLaney of New Jersey.

ICMI2020 video #71 of 126: Abortion. MGM. How Feminism is Undermining Men, Women and Children.”

Video #71 is an interview (31:57) of Dr Warren Farrell by Elizabeth Hobson and Mike Buchanan. Details about Warren in the video description.

ICMI20 was very ambitious in scale – 126 speakers and interviewees – and many people haven’t caught all of the videos. To help remedy that, we’re publishing one video per day from early April until mid-August, so people have a reasonable chance of catching all, or most, of the material. Think of the videos as a daily Red Pill.

The videos will be published in the order in which they were originally published on our YouTube conference playlist. Paul Elam’s YouTube channel has 103,000+ subscribers – a few more than our channel – and also features the playlist.

Wetherspoon pub in Reading that kicked out two women (Mollie Wood and Amy Lee, both 20) for wearing ‘inappropriate’ halterneck tops is flooded with scathing one star TripAdvisor reviews branding it ‘sexist’ and a ‘total dive’

Our thanks to Nigel for this. He writes:

One of those “and finally…” type stories, the tale of two young women in the most revealing of tops, asked to leave a pub, partly because the pub had similarly barred men not wearing shirts. Revealing not only everything but that which two small triangles of black material could cover the two young women gave vent to modern feminism. “Sexism” it seems means “preventing me from doing anything I want to” even if that happens to be from an attention-seeking exhibitionist. It certainly doesn’t mean adherence to the same standards as applied to men.

Of course it’s laughable in one respect and provides the paper with ample opportunity to picture cleavage. But I also caught a supposedly more cerebral piece on UnHerd which wobbles through the contradictions in 93% of women wanting men to make the first move and be sexually attracted to them and the fate of many male feminists finding themselves more likely to be complained about by hyper-sensitive women. The old old story, advances by the “right” men are welcome , the wrong ones now are “sexist” aggressions.

So much the same as our two “topless” women trundling into the bar clearly desperate for attention shouting “sexism” when someone calls them out on their exhibitionism. So even amongst the intellectuals “sexism” is pretty much totally subjective, whether the attentions are from the “right” sort of men or the “wrong” sort.

Perhaps men should organise mass Speedo shorts wearing in pubs and bars? Curious how penises, especially erect ones, are some of the scariest things on the planet!

Care services too focused on investigating families in crisis, says review

Our thanks to Nigel for this. He writes:

Well, a review of our Children’s services finds there are far too many investigations  and “We are failing to build lifelong loving relationships around these children.” Fascinating, isn’t it? It’s as though we don’t have a clue about why there are 201,000 investigations in a year with 135,000 proving pointless.

Let’s take a step back and consider the influence of feminist ideology, given any male from six years of age or more is treated as a potential abuser, it seems that may play a part in a trigger-happy approach from children’s service. All a part of the almost gleeful removal of fathers from the “family” and in particular their relationship with their children, by children and family services and family courts. And in the article it talks about the importance of “mum” (because of course Dad couldn’t possibly be a good) being with her children and other mums, when constantly every sinew of state says “mum” should pop the child in a nursery and get herself to work. It is amazing, isn’t it, decades of research confirming the best and safest  place for children is in families with two biological parents. Billions of pounds spent on fostering and adoption to try and recreate what the family naturally provides.

And yet again there is a “wide eyed” report apparently blissfully or wilfully unwilling to say the solution is to stop feeding the system with greater and greater numbers of mother-only chaotic “families” by telling us all that all that matters is the individual and parenting is a patriarchal burden for mothers, and fathers are best kept away in case they abuse. Of course the “solutions” discussed – more money and services – don’t address the problem, and the NSPCC’s intervention made me laugh as a prime example of an organisation ramping up precisely the fears and panics that fuel the rampant investigation culture.

As the saying goes, keeping on doing the same things and expecting a different result is madness.

‘Mediocre’ male managers are stopping women’s rise. Of course they are.

Our thanks to Nigel for this gem posted by a woman on the BBC website today. An extract:

Gender-diversity consultancy The Pipeline last year found that large UK firms whose executive boards are at least one-third female are 10 times more profitable on average than all-male boards.

Just let that sink in in for a moment. 10 times more profitable. Doesn’t your common sense tell you that’s laughably ridiculous? Of course. Last July I posted the blog piece Our public challenge of 38 people at The Pipeline. Not one of them responded to my public challenge. Of course they didn’t. The mainstream media never challenge female ideologues.

I turn to our sane commentator, Nigel. He writes:

So the “researchers” – parasitic feminists one and all, we can be sure – interviewed just 79 women in a huge industry, “the City”, and found that they reckoned their true worth is not recognised by “mediocre” more senior managers. Call me cynical but I’d guess many many people, male and female, “feel” they are not properly recognised by higher management. Almost inevitable in a pyramidal hierarchy where few can progress to the top.

Of course no one would dare interview senior managers about how they make their judgements, in case they might cite precisely the same things often highlighted in other “research”. Lack of confidence, unwillingness to take individual responsibility, unwillingness to take risks, all cited by feminists as things women need “help” with. Could it possibly be that many of the 79 interviewees are simply not as good as they think they are? In a very competitive field it seems unlikely businesses are busy promoting “mediocre” managers. And of course this is yet more “research” about sex differences that doesn’t bother asking even one man about how men might see this.

Tom Caulfield’s weekly meetings on photography and videography (and a carrot-related competition)

Tonight saw the first of Tom Caulfield’s Regarding Men 90-minute-long men-only meetings on photography and videography. They will continue every Wednesday at 7pm BST. The first meeting lived up to expectations, interesting and at times hilarious.

Tom’s started a competition, where each week people will present one or more images on a theme, the theme for next week’s meeting being “carrots” – feel free to take your own photo(s), source images online, manipulate them if you want, be creative. I hope you’ll join us next Wednesday.

Hundreds gather for first ever Men’s March against abortion in Washington DC

Our thanks to Tom for pointing us to this heartening video (5:44). Of course abortion is a men’s issue, not only a religious men’s issue, but we shall happily work with religious people and anyone else who shares our ambition of ending the killing of unborn children.
