I recently posted a piece about how the managing editrix of the UK edition of The Spectator had refused our application to have a full-page ad on domestic violence and other men’s issues in the paper. She declined to respond to our three-page document on the matter. The paper has published propaganda and lies on domestic violence from Julie Bindel, Isabel Hardman (assistant editor), Sarah Ditum, and other feminists. I was unable to find a single published article revealing a truth that has been known by researchers for decades, that domestic violence isn’t a gendered crime.
The capitulation of the otherwise right-leaning paper to feminists is nothing short of an outrage, and deeply cowardly. The capitulation goes back decades, and includes presenting the particularly toxic feminist Harriet Harman a Lifetime Achievement award in 2015, and Jess Phillips a Backbencher of the Year award in 2016. Fraser Nelson, the editor, should be utterly ashamed of himself.
