We’ve had two female prime ministers, Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May, and in neither case – by all accounts – did their husbands interfere in their work. In stark contrast Carrie Symonds – the feminist fiancée of Boris Johnson, a practising Cathlic, and father to their son Wilfred (what century are we in?) – has long exercised a malign influence over BoJo, and it’s getting worse, predictably.
