On 10 October, about 10 weeks ago, Elizabeth Hobson published a beautiful short video, A Challenge to Laura Bates (5:34). More recently, on 10 December, I published my less beautiful and longer video, Mike Buchanan’s Challenge of Laura Bates (32:19).

We’ve been hoping for one or more of Bates’s supporters to post comments, and the wait finally came to an end this afternoon, with comments from “KomodoDragon” on my video. This is our exchange so far:

On the contrary, (a) I am a happy man of average height, 5’9″, (b) I’m positively ecstatic in comparison with Special Snowflake, (c) I laugh at your attempts to shame me, and to understand why, you should visit my website Laughing at Feminists. Are you a supporter of serial lying feminist Ms Bates, and if so, would you like to watch the ICMI20 interview of Michelle Blackhill, once a supporter of Ms Bates, but now a happy well-adjusted woman with a sense of moral agency?

My reply:

Could you be more specific? Give examples of where I’ve been either stupid, or moronic? Both adjectives apply to you, clearly, but I’ve never had them applied to me. No rush, take your time.

Her reply:

You don’t like equality for women. That makes you a moron. morons are stupid. HTH

My reply:

Thank you for another profound response. Where is your evidence to substantiate (that means “to back up”) your claim, “You don’t like equality for women”? Maybe you should ask Mummy if it’s a good thing for her angry little daughter to post comments on a political party’s website?
