I admire the Dutch – the tallest race in the world, I believe – and beautiful Dutch women in particular. I consider Rembrandt to have been the greatest painter who ever lived, but I can take or leave Vincent Vangoff. Before the financial crisis in 2008/9 I planned to relocate to Amsterdam, my favourite city in the world, somewhere I’ve visited many times. The crisis scuppered those plans.
First there was the drop-dead-gorgeous Ava Brighton, now the slightly trickier-to-pronounce Eva Vlaardingerbroek. There will be confusion over who the hot young Dutch woman “Ava/Eva” is. I shall suggest to Eva that she change her name to Gladys Smith, to avoid confusion (for one thing, Ava beat Eva to MRM prominence).
