This is our final reminder that you need to book your ticket(s) for the National Conference on Men’s Issues, Domestic abuse is a men’s issue, too, being held at a premier venue in Manchester on 17 May, by midnight, 7 March – only seven days away. We need to have sold a minimum number of tickets by that date for the conference to proceed. It promises to be a memorable conference, with some outstanding speakers, details here.
Please order your ticket(s) through this link, our customary donation button, we’ll know from the sum that you want one or more tickets:
My original announcement:
I’m pleased to announce J4MB will be hosting the first National Conference on Men’s Issues – as opposed to an international conference – to be held in the UK. It will be held at a premier venue in Manchester on Sunday, 17 May, 2020. Details here. The event title is Domestic abuse is a men’s issue, too. We’re delighted at the range of speakers. The keynote speaker will be Professor Nicola Graham-Kevan, whose work is well known to many J4MB supporters. William Collins will also be speaking, along with other speakers who are well-known or not so well-known to J4MB supporters.
I hope to see many of our supporters at the event. On the preceding evening, Saturday, 16 May, I’ll be in the venue’s bar along with William Collins, Elizabeth Hobson, Natty Raymond, Belinda Brown and Tom Caulfield (our Technical Director, who’ll be filming and editing the presentations). We look forward to meeting as many supporters as possible. With the exceptions of William and Belinda, we’ll also be in the bar on the evening of the event.
