Domestic abuse: not a gender issue | Andrew Pain | TEDx Leamington Spa

Andrew Pain will be a speaker at an event we’ll be hosting in Manchester on 17 May, the first National Conference on Men’s Issue ever held in the UK, titled Domestic abuse is a men’s issue, too. He recently gave an excellent TEDx talk in Leamington Spa, Domestic abuse: not a gender issue (video, 12:35).

We have an excellent line-up of speakers including Professor Nicola Graham-Kevan and William Collins. We need to sell enough tickets (£95.00 including lunch, unlimited tea and coffee, mineral water…) by 7 March for the event to proceed. If you plan to join us, I would urge you to book your ticket(s) soon, to avoid disappointment if all the tickets are sold (there’s a strict limit on the number of attendees).

During the evening of 16 May I’ll be joined by William Collins, Elizabeth Hobson and Natty Raymond in the venue’s bar, and we hope to meet many attendees there. With the exception of William Collins, we’ll also be there during the evening of 17 May, following the conference. We feel sure it will be a memorable event, do join us, and help make this the first of many such annual National Conferences on Men’s Issues around the UK. Thank you.
