Along with Elizabeth Hobson, I’ll be occupied with other events on the next two dates I’d ordinarily be at Speakers’ Corner – 3.11 and 17.11. However, I’m sure at least some of the regular speakers and supporters will be there. I look forward to returning on 1.12.
Today was a particularly productive and enjoyable day at Speakers’ Corner, the sun shining for much of the time. Five of the regular speakers – Rod, Ewan, Lynton, Richard, Nostradormouse – were on fine form as usual, but I think they’d be happy to admit the largest crowd of the day gathered to watch Natty, who spoke eloquently for well over an hour, and engaged skilfully with people in the crowd. Ewan took video footage, we look forward to watching that soon.
Natty is the stalwart anti-feminist who restrained one of the two feminists (one man, one woman) – the woman – who’d thrown milkshakes over Natty, Jordan and myself, hours before Elizabeth and I were due to give talks at Cambridge University. The video (4:32) has so far been watched by well over 14,000 people. Natty called the police soon after restraining the woman, asking them to arrest her because of the the assaults, but after an hour there was still no sign of them. Later, the police did nothing to move the crowd of protesters stopping people from entering the lecture building where Elizabeth and I were due to speak.
We look forward to Natty and Elizabeth speaking again at Speakers’ Corner. They’ll always be very welcome.
A few photographs of Natty, and one of myself wearing the Bloodstained Men & Their Friends uniform for the first time:
Along with other Men’s Rights Activists (MRAs) and anti-feminists I visit Speakers’ Corner, London, on alternate Sundays, from approximately 10:30 onwards, staying for at least three hours, sometimes more. The white uniform I wore today, and will be wearing sometimes in future, was inspired by the uniforms worn by Brother K, Bloodstained Men & Their Friends in the United States.
We’re taking a new approach on our anti-MGM campaigning, seeking to persuade parents not to circumcise their sons. We’ll be handing out new leaflets, and displaying new placards. One of the new placard designs is here.
I urge you to join us at Speakers’ Corner, and support the MRAs and other anti-feminists who campaign there, speak publicly etc. We always have a great time, spreading the word on men’s issues, feminism, Male Genital Mutilation (MGM)…
We campaign for men and women to have equal rights, because women and girls have rights denied to men and boys in many areas. 20 such areas were explored in our 2015 general election manifesto. One of our “equal rights” placard designs is here.
We campaign against MGM, a crime under the Offences Against the Persons Act 1861, being at least ABH, and almost certainly GBH. The party’s playlist of 100+ video and audio pieces relating to MGM is here. It includes footage taken at Speakers’ Corner.
If you’d like to know if we’re planning to attend Speakers’ Corner on a particular Sunday, please contact us ([email protected]).
Members of The London Group are invariably present at Speakers’ Corner on the same days, some of them speaking on stepladders about men’s issues, feminism etc.
Our last general election manifesto is here.
