Not a month goes by without at least one person directing me to one or more points in The Art of War, a 2,500+ year old treatise by the Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu. The associated Wikipedia page is here, a free download here. From Chapter 12, “The Attack by Fire” (p.50):
Sun Tzu said: There are five ways of attacking with fire. The first is to burn soldiers in their camp; the second is to burn stores; the third is to burn baggage trains; the fourth is to burn arsenals and magazines; the fifth is to hurl dropping fire amongst the enemy.
Useful advice there for anti-feminists, I think we can all agree. It’s time for someone to write The Art of War Against Feminism.
Winston Churchill could be more pithy than Sun Tzu, as Mike P reminded me recently. His potent spirit of perseverance and determination was best summed up in one of his own maxims: “We must just KBO.” The initials stood for “Keep Buggering On.”
