I noticed that one of the privileges listed is that girls in are more likely than boys to be adopted. Interestingly many years ago a social worker (female)explained to me that in her opinion there are more boys in care seeking a family because girls are useful in the home doing chores etc and are therefore more likely to find a foster home. Strange how everything that happens to a female has to be interpreted as a disadvantage.
Yes at the time we were going through the adoption process so I had to be polite to the social worker. But the frightening thing is I think she really believed it. Some of these women seem to have victimhood in their DNA and will cling to the idea that they are disadvantaged in the face of reality. You could see it as a form of mental illness. Worse still as you well know a lot of men seem to need to believe it as well.
