Our thanks to Steve for this, on Elon Musk’s amazing SpaceX mission. Ms Gorman states (emphases ours):
“It feeds into a cult of personality which is at odds with the ‘space for all humanity’ narrative that we in the space world [J4MB: “we in the space world”? Right. Because feminist “academics” like you – taxpayer-funded parasites, one and all – have made such amazing contributions to “the space world”.] frequently use to justify space exploration,” Gorman said. “And let’s face it, there’s no getting away from the fact that a red sports car is all about boys and their toys. The car is a signifier of wealth and masculinity. We’ve been trying so hard [J4MB: HOW have you been trying “so hard”, Ms Gorman? By sitting on your huge feminist backside, tapping away on your keyboard, while Elon Musk has been achieving astonishing things?] to leave behind the era where the archetypal astronaut was an elite white male, and we’ve just stepped right back into it.”
Come to think of it, even her name is a mark of patriarchal oppression – GorMAN. She should change it to something less offensive. Alice Fatberg has a certain ring to it, or maybe an anagram like ‘Malice Organ’ or ‘Maniac Ogler’ (Organic Male wouldn’t do).

Ms. Malice Organ seems totally appropriate.

That’s a typo; her name is actually Gormless.
Had her surname been Garman Anal Grimace would have been possible.

Don’t know who she is but I note an academic safely in the warm world of University and study. As always a complaint about the bod who takes risks to achieve something new. In my field of care and health I’m often talking to people with new technologies to sell that are simply a marvel for disabled people and their carers. Frequently the catalyst has been solving problems for a family member or friend. Without exception the inventor/developer/assembler is a man, a man who tries and then thinks other people may benefit. To develop their “product” they often risk their own money, as who will lend on such risky things? The markets are small, and recipients tend be poorer, so few become big business. Many remain “niche” and not a few never take off. Disabled and ill people benefit immeasurably from this willingness to have a go and take a risk.
Elon Musk has become a winner and in the process pushed and pushed the boundaries of science but also taken massive risks. The whinging carping of such feminists should simply remind us of this gulf, even feminists admit, between the creativity of males and need to feel safe in females.
The Gorman’s of this world appear to genuinely believe that all the wonders of the modern world simply happened by ….evolution? magic? circle dancing?..
As she “writes” on her “boys toy” PC and no doubt plans her journey home in a “boys toy” Prius.

As the great Camille Paglia once said: “If civilization had been left in female hands, we would still be living in grass huts.”
And if more feminists were like her, not Jess Philips, more men like me would be supporting women’s rights, where they applied.

I think what really pisses her off is that, clearly unable to attract a man, she’s reduced to using a big girl’s toy, which cannot but have been invented by a man.
More seriously, had men not ‘played’ (that women see the trials and tribulations of persistence in the face of repeated failure as some sort of pointless game says much about them, none of it flattering) with ‘toys’ (that women cannot understand the difference between a toy and a tool says much about them, none of it flattering) seventy to a hundred years ago there could be no ‘space world’ for her to move in.
All we have here is an unattractive, attention seeking, overgrown and immature schoolgirl incapable of producing anything useful herself and spitefully envious of the men who can.

Urgh, ghastly woman. Musk has his problems (noticeable among them a tendency to date or marry toxic gold-diggers and company finances which would make a banker blanch) but he is a genius who has given the world many things, including those electronic vehicles which are suddenly going to be everywhere. Feminists say they only want equality, but here is a white man who is a genuine visionary (not a privileged mediocre bureaucrat coasting along) and all they want to do is tear him down. Further proof most feminist activism is based purely on jealousy and spite.

Didn’t you just undermine all the female engineers in space X?
what did you expect to be be put in space ? a giant pink pussy hat??
so lets apply your own ideology..
Ms Gorman writes in her piece

correction…
Gorman said. “And let’s face it, there’s no getting away from the fact that a pink pussy hat is all about bitter feminists and their victimhood and their lack of contribution to society. The hat is a signifier of whataboutery, poor education, non critical thinking . We’ve been trying NOT so hard
Stick and stones will break my bones, but a feminist will always find something to offend them…..
