Germaine Greer says women ‘spread legs’ for Weinstein movie roles

Our thanks to Cheryl for this. The start of the piece:

Iconic feminist Germain Greer has stunned fans by saying it’s too late for women who “spread their legs” for Harvey Weinstein movie roles to start “whingeing.”

The 78-year-old spoke out about her distaste for the #MeToo movement, railing at actresses who say Harvey Weinstein assaulted them.

“If you spread your legs because he said ‘be nice to me and I’ll give you a job in a movie’ then I’m afraid that’s tantamount to consent, and it’s too late now to start whingeing about that,” Greer explained, before being honoured as Australian of the Year.

  1. Today’s women are so spoiled by feminism that even an old hard core feminist is disgusted with the outcome of the movement ! and that’s quite a statement !

    • Well to be fair Greer is of the “liberation” side which presumes women can be as active as men in every way other than physical strength. The current crop are of the women are fragile in every way school ,really a throw back to Victorian “ladies”. Greer would be no friend to marriage etc.

      • Ms Greer is an old school equality of OPPORTUNITY feminist, and they accept a second rate woman will fail. Such women suffer as badly in the workplace at the hands of the under-qualified, flexibly working mother who is there because of positive discrimination as men do.

      • She’s also an evil harpie whose absurd but sadly influential book “The Female Eunuch” – published in 1970, almost half a century ago – poisoned gender relations, with her lie that men as a class hate women as a class.

      • She may be, but the point remains, women of her generation and mine, do suffer at the hands of young women, mothers especially, as much as men do.
It’s the older woman who will persist with a workplace grievance against/the disciplining of a young woman because a man would be faced with an allegation of sex discrimination.

      • Yes Mike but her timing was brilliant. The contraceptive pill was legalised and gave women unprecedented freedom along with the fridge e.t.c. Then along comes the deeply unpleasant Greer and writes a book that becomes identified with all of those changes in many peoples minds. and they begin to believe that it was her book that actually brought about those changes. I will admit though that I only got through about four pages , then I realised that the woman is deeply disturbed and I had to stop to preserve my sanity.,

      • Mike I think that’s a great idea, if only to watch germaine like a car crash in slow motion.

If any feminists complain, then just point to them de platforming germaine for her views( cos men don’t do that do they !)

      • Greer has one of the filthiest minds of all femtards. She is one of the designers of the feminism we endure to this very day.

If you want to add her to the speakers list to see just how evil the woman is, go for it. You will be entertained.
However, I would never spend one second listening to anything that snake has to say. I heard too much of her bile in the past and have now given up on reading or listening to any of it.

Greer is like Hoff Sommers and Paglia. whom by the way I no longer listen to or read. These are the rotten mongrels who drove that truck of man hating into the public arena back in their day, when they had all the power and fame. These are the ones who poisoned the minds of all younger women, who in turn created the monsters we have at the helm today.

Now a new breed of even more hateful, spiteful and bigoted femtards rule the show and these old bitches have no control at all. Not only that, they are now fearful of where these new younger savage femtards are taking this world. These old cows can see Western Culture disintegrating quickly and they are all out there now trying to put a lid on this caldron of boiling acid.

Too late Greer. Your sins will never be forgotten and you will answer for all the evil you did to boys and men. Nothing you do or say now will ever mitigate your responsibility for placing our culture at risk like you did back in the 70s and onward.

  2. After all these years, something approaching plain common sense from the gobby Antipodean enfant terrible.
It’s a pity the damage has has long since been done, with it’s references to “Marxism coming true anyway, so let’s get on with it” etc. etc.
You can’t reach back and un – do the last 40 years of grievous harm.

    All is forgiven now?
    I don’t think so.

Will today’s femi-toddlers eventually grow up too?
It’ll be a long wait I fear, by which time there will a new generation of stupid, cancer spouting, attention seeking, media whore useful idiots seeking to advance their wothless careers anyway.

  3. Ladies and gentlemen, sit back and enjoy the ride as Hollywood gets taken over by victim feminism, starts dredging up women directors from anywhere, and then issues a load of feminist remakes and propaganda, all of which will bomb at the box office (remember the feminist remake of ‘Ghostbusters’? What a triumph that was).

It’s going to be hilarious. Trump won’t bail them out (of course) and the people running the show will have to beg all the male directors, who will have fled to indiedom (or in some cases, the country) back, metaphorically on their hands and knees.

  4. Rob, I could not agree more.
The mainstream media has effectively ensured that the public do not hear what we have to say. We are not outlawed per se, but we have no platform in the mainstream. No platforming is a restriction of speech and, consequently, issues around the Freedom of Speech have a direct bearing on everything we attempt do in the Men’s Movement.
While my personal opinion of G.Greer would coincide with remarks offered by Shrek6 above, it is nonetheless true that G.Greer speaking at our conference would send out a very clear message about Freedom of Speech.
Anyone who sticks up for Freedom of Speech is also sticking up for the rights of men and boys. The two issues are closely linked because postmodernism, which is one of the driving forces of feminism, is also the driving engine behind restrictions on speech, such as no platforming and ‘hate speech’ law.
