Kato Harris, a teacher falsely accused of rape, tells Julia Hartley-Brewer that Alison Saunders, the head of the CPS, “is either knowingly incompetent or knowingly corrupt” after 13 rape cases collapsed in a year, and must resign

Last summer we reported on the case of Kato Harris, a highly-regarded Geography teacher whose life was torn apart following false rape allegations from a 14-year-old female pupil. He no longer teaches, and strongly recommends to men that they do not enter the teaching profession. One of our many pieces on his case is here.

Our thanks to Simon for this (video, 11:02). Always good to see the estimable Julia Hartley-Brewer taking an interest in men’s issues.

  1. Presumably as a consequence of the battering she is taking, have you seen the amazing admission Alison Saunders just made?

She’s admitted that silence during sex could be conceived as consent!!! This is massive. I don’t recall any feminist having ever admitted such a thing, the whole idea that a woman has to explicitly consent (which is completely ridiculous) is what feminist rape laws are based on.

    • She is in fact stating the law. Non of the cases that have collapsed have been about “silent consent” the evidence that has been hidden is “exculpatory” that is strong enough to mean no crime was committed, that consent was given in fact. In simply reminding us of the law as it is she is inviting in the feminists lobby groups to push for “affirmative consent” and re-direct the debate from the incompetence(I’d go for corruption) of Police and CPS to the long running one about how “consent” may be expressed. The exculpatory evidence is that the complainant in various ways said it was consensual, so this point is made probably as an attempt at a smokescreen. Alison Saunders will not be going soon.
