I think the truth is the comfortable classes in the west have simply forgotten (or choose to forget) how it is “the west” became so very rich and comfortable for them. All the while in the east a sleeping giant wakens and grows in strength. Another “sleeping giant” awoke and remodelled the world in two great victories “hot” and “cold”. Democracy, so recently flowering, probably faces another test sooner than one thinks.
Western men lost self respect vs women. That’s the real problem. They are willing to pretend that women are suitable for all jobs, even when it is bloody obvious they are not. Western men have been taught to over respect and over estimate women at their own expense. And keep quiet when women under perform. It is this pretense and silence by men that feminism is feeding on.
