The Guardian: “Sexual harassment ‘rife’ in schools but largely unreported, study says”

In March 2014 the odious feminist Kat Banyard, the genius behind UK Feminista, then 32, won our first Lying Feminist of the Month award in recognition of a downright life she’s uttered in the course of Jon Snow’s simpering interview of her on Channel 4 News in March 2013. She stated the following, and was of course not challenged by Snow:

What we know is, one in three girls at school experiences sexual harassment on almost a daily basis

The interview is here, her award certificate here. For those with the time to read the evidence that Banyard had lied, it’s contained in a piece I wrote for A Voice for Men in March 2013, Kat Banyard, Laura Bates, Finn Mackay: The noisy handful. Suffice to say that her claim was, of course, a grotesque exaggeration – as claims of the ‘one in three girls’ and ‘one in four women’ type invariably are. The issue of sexual harassment of boys in the study from which Banyard derived her claim, was of course not mentioned by her.

We turn to a piece in today’s Guardian, its headline a contender for the most stupid headline of the year, “Sexual harassment ‘rife’ in schools but largely unreported, study says”. It adopts the customary tactic of such articles, including unverifiable anecdotes, most (if not all) of which we can assume to be journalistic inventions. An extract:

Female teachers complain about sexual harassment by pupils. “I have been whistled at whilst trying to teach, and one extreme case where a boy pushed his crotch up against my back to intimidate me,” one told researchers.

Another extract:

The use of sexist, misogynist language is also widespread with 66% of female sixth-form students complaining they have either experienced or witnessed the use of sexist language in schools.

To feminists any language used by a male in reference to a female is sexist, so I’m only surprised that it wasn’t 100% of female sixth-form students who had ‘complained’. The ‘study’ to which the Guardian article refers is here.

  1. As anyone who remembers being a teenager will tell you, sex in schools tends to come with the job of corralling and controling hundreds of horny teenagers in one place. I can certainly recount plenty of horror stories of teen schoolgirl shitty behaviour and bang on about double standards, but I am not going to. I am not falling into the idiocy of SJWs.

Teenagers are going to act out, because they are teenagers FFS. We have laws in place to deal with serious crimes like rape, but I do not support for a second bringing in adult workplace standards on professional ettiqute into the classroom. Do we really want to emotionally cripple the next generation even more than Millennials were?

  2. well, now that feminists claim women are sexually harassed an masse at schools, in the office, in the military, even in the government, they are proving Saudi Arabia right for having gender segregation. They have ‘proved’ that men and women can not work side by side in peace. Gender segregation prevents women from being harassed and men from facing constant complaints and jail. Both sexes win and there is peace. Why do not feminists want this arrangement ?????

    • Well, the reason is very simple of course.
FeMarxism is not in the business of leaving men alone.
It has to create conflict where none really exists – that is it’s actual and real purpose.
Since Marxism cannot actually invade us with guns anymore (at least, not at the moment) they must divide us with lies, setting us against each other.
We ourselves are providing the required shock troops armed with lies and untruth – devasting weapons of mass deception – and a society divided against itself cannot stand of course.
They intend to provoke that, and in the absence of cohesion caused by destroying marriage, the family, the standing of men who lead society, professional and social trust, Christianity etc. etc.

Segregation would deny them the opportunity to do this which is why they will fight tooth and nail against it.
This same reason is why girls have invaded the ‘boy’ scouts – to further promote conflict among children and young people.

Of course, you may know all this and your question thus rhetorical, I realise.

      • Absolutely correct and yes, It is clear for all to see what feminists and their female (and male) followers are actually up to. It is despicable and shameful to say the least.

  3. ‘Experienced or witnessed the use of sexist language’, as defined by feminists!
If we assume (to be generous) a sixth-form class of 22, an ‘incident’ of ‘sexist language’ will have perhaps 21 ‘witnesses’ and/or ‘experiencers’ – of the SAME ‘incident’.
Which rather puts the inflated 66% feminist statistic into perspective..

  4. The auxiliary title and ‘policy summary’ of Kat Banyard’s creation ‘UK Feminista’ is:

“Action for equality between women and men”.

So, that forces the question – “Since women already have advantage and privilege over men, by any official and legal measure, why would they want to downgrade to mere equality”.

    Answer – “They wouldn’t.”

That must mean that that statement is untrue and false.

Which in turn must mean that Banyard is lying from the word go about the purpose of Feminista.

So what IS it’s real purpose then?

I believe I’ve spoken about this subject enough already, so I invite you, dear reader, to fill in that bit yourself on this occasion.

  5. Well as usual we set off with some dodgy stats about school with then a set of stats. from the adult world from rape to MPs as if its all “proof” of some evil. About what one would expect from the organisation publishing it. Being fair I was interested in the quotes section, wherein there were at least some examples of the messages boys report “Man up” , Being told to do the “heavy lifting”, being the discipliner the one to deal with challenging or violent behaviour. Given the female nature of the profession its pretty clear that boys and male teachers are subjected to “sexism” by women. Just as many of the girls’ quotes read likely to be about bullying from other girls. Having three children I know how egotistical and cruel children can be, and how fraught teenage years. But its transient and often is easily contained by good teachers. So it seems quite likely to be possible that in the mix is a load of stuff going on.
But this is yet another example of picking a known set of issues, from teenagers here , or sub Saharan Africa in the Trudeau foreign aid story, and linking them to “first world problems” such as too few female physicists, MPs. or members of FTSE Boards.
And of course adding in for titillation(how very British) “Sexual” when most of the report isn’t at all about “sex” but about stereotypical roles of the “they didn’t let me play football with the boys” “they teased me for being in the Choir” sort.

  6. We really need to eliminate co-ed schools then. it will be better for both female students and teachers then. Our all inclusive, ‘ naive’ society has been proven wrong by feminists.Let’s segregate along gender lines. I’d be so happy to go to all men’s clubs, golf courses, pubs where smoking would be allowed and office free of sexual harassment claims. It would be a great society. Bring on gender segregation please and release all men found ‘guilty of harassment’ from overcrowded jails. It will no longer be necessary to jail them.
