That Davies HAS “provoked immense amounts of critcism from Britain’s left” only confirms he is on the right lines and should be supported with everything we have in the fight to counter it’s quest for power at any cost that would make Britain “like Cuba without the sunshine”….
actually I’m not worried about this.
Davies has made it clear( in an interview) that he is happy to accept what ever the voters decide to do.
I believe the classic mistake made here by Jeremy Corbyn is that he choose a candidate based on gender rather than the ability to deliver or fight for the issues that are important to the shipley constituents.
being an academic and a child poverty activist( rather than an expert?) is really going to help the people of shipley when they have to deal with the all important things like
unemployment.
education
health
low wages
job insecurity
stagnation of local and national services
care for the elderly
brexit
etc
etc
but hey remember, she has to be good for shipley cos…. female…
I hesitate to ask what it’s qualifications are.
