The situation with the Conservative Party is not much different here in Canada. When they had the opportunity to elect a leader that see’s the world as it really is they were too frightened and cowardly to elect him. Now they have another weak-kneed leader that likely doesn’t have the fortitude required to lead in this environment. May the gods help us all.

  2. No more, and no less than what used to be called ‘plain common sense’, the like of which made Great Britain a desirable country to live in.

Russia has lost the Cold War and politically and economically collapsed, the Berlin Wall has come down and Erich Honiker gone, along with Romania’s Nicolai Ceausescu, Albania’s Enver Hoxha and China’s Mao TseTung, and we all thought the conflict was over and we could all just go home and have our tea in peace.

But our own home grown Marxists have come out to try and win the peace by means of subversion, misdirection, lies and deceit.

The price of freedom – or something passably like it – is indeed turning out to be constant vigilance.
