Good. But boys do perform better in a purely exam based qualification, which is why the O Level was scrapped in favour of the feminised GCSE

Thanks Elizabeth, but that’s a popular myth, as William Collins showed http://mra-uk.co.uk/?p=121

Thanks Mike.
I also believed that boys performed better in exam based qualifications, so I really appreciate the link.

Interesting As there are a whole series of international studies confirming a pro female bias in marking https://www.tes.com/news/school-news/breaking-news/teacher-stereotyping-means-higher-marks-girls-says-oecd with national and international research showing mark inflation particularly pronounced in teacher marked course work. This is proposed to increase Girl’s confidence and this has led to giving Girls inflated marks being actually advocated!

As children respond well to “positive reinforcement” this is hardly surprising. Of course it begs the question of how boys are to do well and feel confident if subjected to such systematic discrimination.
And of course the annual “Gender Gap” in University applications continues https://www.ucas.com/file/115911/download?token=EokhytEH

‘This is proposed to increase Girl’s confidence … ‘
No one in authority seems to be asking what use confident girls are if they are incompetent.

This grotesque misrepresentation is perpetrated;
1. To hide the truth.
And
2. So that calls for more help for those poor underprivileged girls can be advanced yet further.
What proportion of people during some representation or other, with unfacts machine gunned at them at speed, will be able to separate fact from assertions, from claims and allegations from lies and calumnies.
Exponents of the technique have introduced rule by trickery.
How they laughed.
