  1. Given the times in which we live, the reaction to this engineer’s document, on both social media and by Google themselves, is exactly what one would expect, i.e. 100% entirely and tiresomely predictable, including the hackneyed cliches about the supposed importance of ‘diversity’, etc..

    As for calls for the author to be sacked, such calls simply prove 100% his point about the dangers of expressing “right-wing” or conservative views in many environments today.

    Regarding ‘diversity’, this, whatever its apologists may claim, is, of course, first and foremost about prioritizing outward appearances (gender, race, etc.), as distinct from (and, one suspects, in many instances at the expense of) ability and individual merit.
