Inspirational review of the issues. I noted her intention to take on “white Ribbon” in Australia. I forsee in the UK the intention of the May gov. to push the DV agenda. Even though we alreadt have an Act in England and wales tht defines and criminalises “Domestic Abuse”. The definition is exactly that put forward by Womens Aid and Refuge about repeated actions creating fear with the one difference, in accord with the Equality Act it is “gender neutral” in language. The review and promise of a new Act can only be to attempt to introduce the “gendered” (feminist) definition.
