Helena Horton, self-declared ‘raging socialist’, feminist activist, Telegraph writer, caught repeatedly lying about Philip Davies, Tweeted, “we need to #killallmen”

Several tips of the hat to HEqual for this.

  1. Truly appalling. Isn’t this a “hate crime”?
On a more general note, I find Twitter so vile now I closed my account. I miss the useful links but other than that the people on it……this Horton thing is a fairly typical specimen of the rabid entities you find there.

  2. It’s a sad reflection on the present state of the Daily Telegraph that a supposedly conservative quality newspaper would employ the likes of Ms Horton. Might this be for the sake of some totally misguided version of ‘diversity’? Or might they have simply failed to check her background before deciding whether or not to employ her?

  3. I subscribed to the paper for many years, but it long ago ceased to be a ‘conservative quality newspaper’. Feminists have long run riot, including the mangina who wrote a piece we linked to yesterday, saying men should do more childcare and housework – no mention of women doing more paid work, needless to say.

  4. If I may comment again here, it’s easy to see why feminists such as Ms Horton are so desperate to try to discredit Philip Davies by any means they can.

This may be a statement of the obvious, but Mr Davies is probably the kind of man feminists fear most, far more than they fear any number of idiotic online trolls, however nasty these may be. They fear Mr Davies because he is highly intelligent and articulate, and has done his homework and knows his stuff – and, of course, has no fear of calling a spade a spade – all of which combine to make him more than a match for them at every turn, be they in the media, Parliament or anywhere else.

    • Agreed. He’s their worst nightmare, an MP seeking gender equality rather than gender privileging for women. And he’s the only MP among 650 prepared to do so publicly.

  5. I must be a dangerous extremist because I wonder why the meeting that Phillip Davies attended on the impact of Sharia law on women wasn’t also addressing the impact of Sharia law on men as well. A few months ago I read an account by a Muslim man mentioning how his wife wanted a divorce and preferred to obtain it through a Sharia court because she thought she would get a better deal, he also pointed out that he is financially responsible for her but any money that she earns she can keep for herself. I would dearly like to know more about Sharia law from someone who really knows about it because the information that we get is like most things filtered through a feminist dominated media.
