About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

Mr Collins as usual makes clear the distinction that hate crimes in law do not include “misogyny” and so this is an invention of the police.
As this is policy of the particular Police force not statute it could be challenged under the Equality Act. As it is so framed that clearly it discriminates against boys and men in its very definition. The Hate Crimes on statute do not discriminate on such grounds, a gay person can be homophobic, a disabled person can be diabolist ,anyone of any race can be racist, a member of a religion can hate others of the same religion and so on . And though they are rare there are cases where such cases have been prosecuted.
If it were to be that this “misogyny” policy were to follow from the Hate Crime on statute then it would have to include the possibility that a woman could say “misogyny” , indeed the recent research on “trolling” showed that much of the “hate” was from women to women. If anyone has the energy and funds I hope they do. Clearly the EHRC who should tackle this breech of the Equality Duty, won’t. To make it compliant it would have to say the perpetrator could also be female (the law hasn’t really caught up with the 32 or more possible Genders).
I should add that both police forces need to be looked at if they have the time and resources to investigate things that aren’t illegal, one presumes they have time on their hands..

Hadn’t realised this “law” essentially bans public photography and video recordng if there’s a female in frame.

Imagine all criminals/scammers exposed by BBC TV shows will simply get their wife to stand next to them when the BBC come round, thus forcing the BBC to stop filming the second the wife says she doesn’t consent! And of course the female criminals will be completely immune from having their faces on TV< imagine the BBC wouldn't even try filming them!

Have to wonder if we'll get women forcing stores or ouncils to turn of CCTV cameras next!
