Female Chief Executive sought for the Nottingham Women’s Centre

Melanie Jeffs is a lesbian radical feminist, and leads the Nottingham Women’s Centre. She’s one of our Lying Feminists of the Month (April 2015).

Our thanks to Tim for pointing us to an advert for a new chief executive, here. Excerpts:

Nottingham Women’s Centre has a history of promoting gender equality in Nottinghamshire since 1971, delivering high-quality services to women, maintaining a women’s community centre and acting as a key voice on women’s issues locally. [Yes, that looks like ‘a history of promoting gender equality’.]

Please apply online to be considered for the Female Chief Executive role.

Due to the nature and sensitivity of the projects client group, it is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010, Part 1, Schedule 9 for the post holder to be female.

If everyone who read this gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly – we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks.

  1. That’s a doubleplusgood piece of double think from comrade Jeffs, but she really needs to change her surname, sorry last name, to something less patriarchal.
    How about Melanie Jills?

  2. I was thinking of applying.
Can I get a reference from you please?

I’m confident that will have quite an effect on my chances.

  3. P.S.
I hereby confirm that I’m female.
IF by some mischance they twig that I’m not, I shall sue under equality legislation despite their closing caveat.
