FROCKS AWAY! RAF women face being BANNED from wearing skirts on parade thanks to PC ‘madness’ of push to be more ‘inclusive’

Our thanks to Bryn for this. An extract:

One said: “The RAF is a modern and inclusive employer.

“We have men who want to live as women, women who want to live as men and personnel who do not identify with any gender. [Hopefully the vast majority of the men want to live as men, the vast majority of the women as women? Let’s ignore them. On second thoughts, why not force all RAF men and women to wear not trousers on parade, but skirts? Or perhaps alternate between all-trouser and all-skirt parades?]

“The view was we need a uniform policy to cut through all of that and say there is one uniform for everyone and that’s that.

“It’s about including people and encouraging diversity.”

Encouraging diversity. That should help us win the next war…

Another extract:

MP Philip Davies and Colonel Richard Kemp, former commander of British forces in Afghanistan, also blasted the move.

Tory Mr Davies said: “It’s a ludicrous decision.

“I’d imagine it was made by a middle class Guardian-reading male with too much time on his hands and a misguided guilt complex.”

Col Kemp, said: “There are obviously too many people in the RAF with too little to do if they have time to agonise over whether or not women should wear skirts in ceremonial uniform.”

If everyone who read this gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly – we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks.

  1. Clearly, some little sycophant is desperate to demonstrate to their polictical masters what a good little arse licker (please pardon my French) they are.

Still, it’s inline with policies that result in the Navy banning pin ups (the NAVY having no pin ups!) and no carriers until at least what – 2023 was it? And no aircraft to go on them indefinitely since the American F35 has turned out to be an un-serviceable techno nightmare costing so much they can’t be risked in actual combat.

Perhaps some still serviceable Fairey Swordfish or Gloster Gladiators could be sourced from a museum or something?

    • I used to be amazed at the tales of the political commisars in the USSR who had so much power to screw things up in the name of ideology. Now, there’s no USSR but instead we have the British (semi-)armed forces doing the same thing.

  2. Good! in work for tired of the general pattern of strict dress codes for males and “self expression” for females . So I hope it starts a trend of the same standards in work for men and women. Good heavens next there may be the same entry requirements and same disciplinary standards. Sorry WAFs: tough.
Of course it has the added bonus of rattling the cage of people to notice the swat the PC crowd has over our society. So to me win win.

Now it seems Sweden is joining a number of other eastern European nations in reintroducing conscription as their recruitment of “volunteers” has failed. These reintroductions have cause some disquiet where they haven’t imposed the same requirements on women. On the face of it Sweden has. Be interesting to see how this actually works ……….
Sweden had, like Germany and indeed Britain, put reliance on a diminishing pool of “old soldiers” and creating a larger force of weekend soldiers. In effect a lot of reliance on there being a big pool of men willing to train but be available to fight only when there’s real trouble. But without military virtues being encouraged and martial attitudes being labelled “toxic masculinity” it seem few want to be “cannon fodder”.
