Philip Davies MP speaks in opposition to the Aggravated Murder of and Violence Against Women Bill

Our thanks to Rod for this (video, 10:50). The House of Commons website page on the Bill is here.

The body language of the MPs on the government benches (including Michael Gove, to Philip’s left) tells you all you need to know about the government’s attitude towards men’s issues – they’re an embarrassment to these apparatchiks. Gove was formerly the Justice Secretary, in which role he did precisely nothing about the extreme anti-male bias of the criminal justice system.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

Big balls, it didn’t seem to do any good on this ugly vote but only the future will show the impact. A great warrior!

  • The US will be getting rid of VAWA (in all likelyhood under Trump), while Britain is bringing in it’s own version of that hateful bigoted legislation.

Philip Davies is a brave and bold man – I don’t doubt he has the full support of this party, and I believe the views he speaks of will become the widely accepted norm in the future.

I therefore invite EVERYONE who reads this and agrees with it to write in NOW and say so, however briefly.

A parliament filled with useless ‘nodders’ unable to grasp the simple logic of Mr Davies request exposes just why our country is in the mess it is in.

That man is a beacon of hope.
