Harriet Harman MP – Lying Feminist of the Month

A week before the publication of her book  A Woman’s Work, Harriet Harman has claimed that lecturer Professor TV Sathyamurthy told her she could have a 2.1 degree ‘in return for sleeping with him’, while she was a student at the University of York.

Her Lying Feminist of the Month award is here.

If everyone who read this gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly – we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

“A week before the publication of her book” may be the key words here.

Even so, I’m surpised she couldn’t dream up something a bit more juicy than this rather plain fare.
But then judging by a snap of her taken at the time, and published in The Telegraph (previously a newspaper) she was somewhat plain fare herself.

Interestingly, the professor’s wife (he is safely deceased) Carole Methven, has denied the claim.
Only slightly less interestingly, the prof himself is described in a fawning and obseqious obit in the The Independent (never a newspaper) as “broadly Marxist”.

So perhaps it is all just Hattie Harpic’s (she’s clean round the bend) wishful thinking then.

    Supposing it’s true.

Do we assume that the professor only ever made this offer to one of his female students, the future Leader of the Feminist World?
If not, how often did he (and other tutors who will no doubt also now be accused on Loose Women, The Guardian etc.) achieve ‘success’?

If ANY female student has achieved academic success by this method, a) Will they admit it? b) If so, will Harriet have to accept that not all females are perfect?

    1. interesting that she does this just before her book which I think should have a sub heading “How I messed up by attacking gender and families , I’m miserable for it, so everyone else should be miserable”

    2. Again interesting that she brought this out( and its probably in her book) after the person she has accused is deceased( therefore avoiding a libel case, although the widow may decide to take action)

    3. she has had long enough to go to the police for this as we all know the police and the CPS will believe you regardless( this has been the case for many many years).

harriet harman – miserable excuse for an MP and a seriously flawed role model for women. This is the last gasping cry of a failure.

BTW – every one should watch the oxford union debate of “Why I’m not a feminist” with Edwina Currie. Because she points out that Harman had the chance to step up and stand for leader of the labour party but she( and other female labour MPs) “Chickened out”
