The Red Pill – livestream from Norwich

Four venues in Norwich, in quick succession, cancelled their scheduled screenings of The Red Pill in response to complaints from people who hadn’t seen the film. Barry Wright outfoxed the feminists with a cunning plan, the screenings went ahead without incident, and were much enjoyed by the audiences. The Q&A panel consisted of Cassie Jaye, Erin Pizzey, Paul Elam, Dr Randomercam, myself, and three feminists (a transgendered person and two women, one of whom pulled out of the second night).

Barry hired a professional video production company to film the Q&A on the first night, he believes the footage will be available in a week’s time, when we’ll obviously link to it. The second night’s Q&A was recorded by a lady on the front row – on an iPhone, I think – I’ll check to see if that’s available.

We had a little time to kill on the afternoon of the second day, and someone came up with the idea of having a discussion, and livestreaming it on Dr Randomercam’s channel – here. It’s an hour long.  You may hear some snoring, that’s Barry’s dog.

If everyone who read this gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly – we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks.

  1. If four venues cancelled that’s worth a post in itself. Got to be a world record surely and very newsworthy, even more so if it was defeated!

I know Norwich South is a target for the Greens which usually means huge amounts of misandry, but I’ve never noticed much coming out of there and it seems very politically diverse so had assumed you’d be safe. I wonder if the complainants were local or not?

I guess there’s the university as an obvious source of attempted censorship, perhaps it would be interesting to look on social media to see what went on.

  2. Well I know I should comment on Youtube. but I keep messing that up. Brilliant film for looking at the issues. Great to see genuine heroes of free speech, quite apart from the views expressed. Isn’t is ironic that there were 3 women who actually embodied what feminism claims to stand for confident articulate brave women, yet they’d suffered at the hands of feminists for being precisely that. What a hero Barry is in getting the film put on in Norwich and how good to hear his “journey”.
I think this video actually hit on the key issues so well. The transference of “Chivalry” to the state. The importance of the political narrative in supporting state funding of gender feminists which in turn fuels the lobby power to secure state chivalry which then fuels the lobby power in a “virtuous” circle.
I think Erin is so right when she observes the end of a level of certainty actually fuels personal anxiety and this feeds the widespread “fellow” travelling of women who find some security in being a “victim” and able to fall back on state chivalry. Again Cassie’s observation that leaving the victim narrative meant she had to come to terms with some financial support from her father and boyfriend. Facing the difference between its a “right” because she’s special, to its from generosity and affection from two people who want to do their best for her. It encapsulated the corrosive nature of the ideology.
A really thought provoking video. thank you .
