Kaylea Reid, 26, a spurned woman who was having an affair with her boss at a disability charity, posted revenge porn on his wife’s business page after he dismissed her. Conditional discharge.

Our thanks to William for this. Excerpts:

A spurned lover has been convicted of a revenge porn offence after putting naked photographs of her ex-boss on his new wife’s work Facebook page.

Kaylea Reid, 26, targeted Robert Page after they ‘sexted’ and she then lost her job after less than a year, Ipswich Magistrates’ Court heard.

Reid has admitted disclosing private sexual photographs of Mr Page without his consent with the intention of causing him distress.

She could have been jailed for up to two years, but she was given a conditional discharge for six months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge fee of £20…

He [Paul Booty, defending] said that Reid felt she had been taken advantage and now realised that she was ‘foolish and naïve’.

Mr Booty said that she posted the pictures because ‘she was trying to be heard.’

He added that the case has caused ‘just as much humiliation’ for her as it had for Mr Page.

If everyone who read this gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly – we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks.

  1. We have de facto two different justice systems. One for women and the other, real one, for men.
Nothing in our constitution says women need to get better treatment than men. That only means one thing and it is that our culture is wrong. We can not assume and defend current practices in our society, when 98% of prisoners are men, when men have no rights in family courts, when women get promoted ahead of men simply for being women, etc..
This means we need to admit that our culture, or traditions need adjustment. The longer we don’t want to admit and accept this fact, the more painful and destructive it is going to get. A very high price to pay for our cultural arrogance. It is to our own detriment, and to the detriment of the whole country.
