Karen Straughan: The Feminist Logical Paradox Personified – The Gigi Engle Story

A lengthy and outstanding article by Karen Straughan (GirlWritesWhat). Her output (since 2010) has never been less than first-rate. The video (45:16) of her well-received talk ‘Toxic Femininity’ at the recent London conference is here.

Sheffield University ‘safety wardens’ (contd.)

Yesterday we posted a piece about Sheffield University ‘safety wardens’ – here. Jim writes:

This is serious stuff.  It should not be casually dismissed as more silly feminist nonsense.  These complaints will be treated as allegations of domestic violence/ domestic abuse.  Under the 2014 Positive Action Policy of the police, under Home Office guidance, these MALE STUDENTS WILL be arrested. Under the Zero Tolerance policies of the Home Office and Alison Saunders at the Crown Prosecution Service these MALE STUDENTS WILL be prosecuted.  They  WILL be treated as guilty until proven innocent and they WILL have to prove their innocence.

Recognise that feminists have weaponised women.  Women have not been empowered.  They have become unwittingly weaponised by feminists to destroy men and families.  They want women to hate the ones they love. Feminists and vindictive psychos like to pull the trigger.    Feminists like these “Safety Stewards” at Sheffield University will be pulling the trigger to blow up a woman to destroy the man she is with by “referring them” to the police.

If these MALE STUDENTS are prosecuted, which they will be, then the evidence used against them can simply be a Witness Statement from a third party, i.e. the feminist “Safety Steward” that witnessed something and lies or twists it into a domestic abuse case.  For example, Sheffield SU women’s officer Serena Cavasin is quoted as saying: “If they see one student is visibly upset, and they might have not seen what happened, they can say: ‘We’ve got this zero tolerance policy to sexual harassment, so if you want to come with me and if you want to talk to security we can note down this has happened so we can take action.’”

The female complainant will be automatically labelled a “victim.”  Even if she does not support the case, the CPS WILL PROCEED WITH PROSECUTING THE MALE STUDENT based on the witness statements alone.  It will cost the MALE STUDENT in the ballpark of £20,000 in legal fees to prove his innocence.

Male students at Sheffield University, if they have any balls left, need to shut this down.  First, they need to identify the feminists behind this.  Is there a male-hate terrorist organisation behind this such as Women’s Aid?  Once identified, they need to make a complaint to the police and University of harassment, of violation of their right to respect for family life, and anything else they can think of.  They must do so in a peaceful, non-violent manner in spite of these malicious feminists deserving to be burned at the stake.

Parents of students at Sheffield University need to act to shut this down.  Do you fancy having to spend £20,000 in legal fees to defend your son?  Do you fancy sending your son to University only for him to come out with a criminal record and not get a job?

The world has changed.  Since 2010, new laws, amended laws and new application of old laws have radically widened the definitions of domestic abuse, sexual assault, discrimination, harassment, stalking, and hate crime to such an extent that just about anything a man does can now be classed as a crime.  Subjective interpretation is a key enabling feature.  “Coercive and controlling behaviour” is a crime.

Sheffield University men and parents need to act to shut down these dangerous feminists.

Men the ‘missing ingredient’ when it comes to workplace gender equality, says new Cambridge study

Our thanks to Ian for this.

Murray Edwards College, Cambridge, as described on the homepage of its own website:

Murray Edwards is a Cambridge College for women. With so much gender inequality still in the world there is a role for a College able to focus on outstanding young women, their learning and skills for life.

It must be a veritable production line of Special Snowflakes, so their ‘study’ should come as no surprise. Its message boils down to this:

Women are strong! Yay!!!

Women’s feelings aren’t being recognized enough by men in the workplace, they need more support from men! Yay!!!

Extracts from the ‘study’:

Researchers at Murray Edwards College have published a new study, Collaborating with Men, which calls on men to do more to help improve the workplace culture for women…

The study offered up five possible things men could do in order to help their female colleagues make better progress in the workplace.

These include holding “supportive” meetings for both genders to air their concerns openly [men may not openly air their concerns that some of their female colleagues are whiny and lazy] and having teams of mixed genders review projects upon completion.

Other ideas included having mentors of the opposite gender and men being prepared to credit women more readily for their ideas, [even when the ideas have no merit, presumably] as well as challenging sexist comments for (sic – ‘more’?) frequently. [Only sexist comments about women need to be challenged, obviously.]

Men have also been encouraged to build “more supportive” relationships with their female colleagues – for example by sitting down and having coffee with them once a week. [Hold on, isn’t having coffee without prior and ongoing enthusiastic consent rape, now?]

Murray Edwards said… [Wow, a talking college!]

My head hurts.

Another man assaulted by his ex-wife and the criminal injustice system

A supporter writes:

Dear Mike, I would like you to publish a piece on your website.

For the past two years I have been through Hell. I was falsely accused of rape and assault. My trial was in September, the jury took less than an hour to reach a verdict of Not Guilty.

The (female) police officer in charge of the case held back and hid vital evidence from the court, and struck up a friendship with my ex-wife. They were meeting each other on a weekly basis. In court the judge had to order the officer to reveal the hidden evidence to the Defence, she refused many times to comply. The officer was guilty of perjury and seeking to pervert the course of justice.

My barrister told me to lodge a complaint with the IPCC, which I have done. This was the second complaint I lodged about her conduct. It got brushed under the carpet by IPCC staff who are former police officers.

I have suffered greatly with my health and confidence and even though I was found Not Guilty and have no criminal record, I cannot get work in the security or teaching professions.

My ex-wife is now planning to get married for the fourth time! My question is, who pays for all the costs of court? I am financially broke now, and my ex-wife has escaped false allegation charges.

She is a carer who violently injured my five-year-old grandchild, this was accepted in court. The police never interviewed my two grandchildren, who will never forget. I am lucky I had a good barrister, and wonder how many innocent men are in prison.

Thank you.

David.

The Crime of Peaceful Protest

A week ago our estimable videomaker Men and Women are from Earth took some footage of me before and after my trial at Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court, in which I was charged with allegedly blocking the highway in Parliament Square on 1 June 2016, during a protest about the police and CPS not bringing prosecutions against the people illegally mutilating the genitals of male minors on religious or cultural grounds, for personal financial gain. We estimate some earn £2+ million over their butchering careers. The video (8:36) is here.

1791L: Mike Buchanan body slams feminism with facts

It’s always satisfying when YouTube channels pick up on our materials, particularly our interviews, and sometimes they’ve had 500,000+ hits, greatly amplifying our voice on social media. We’re very grateful to all the people behind these amazing channels.

Our thanks to Sean for pointing me to an interesting YouTube channel I can’t recall having encountered before – maybe I’m having a senior moment, though – 1791L. Videos clips from three of my televised videos have been published on the channel within the past 48 hours, the one with the most hits (24,000+) being Man body slams feminism with facts (3:30). It’s part of an interview I had with the hapless Frances Finn of Notts TV (not part of the BBC) shortly after my encounter with Caroline Criado-Perez on the ITV programme This Morning, four months before the 2015 general election.

The full interview (10:24) is on our own YouTube channel, here, where it’s had 3,000+ hits. On Captain Nemo’s YouTube channel it’s had 630,000+ hits and 10,000+ upvotes – here.

It’s all looking good on social media…

It’s ‘unlikely’ Mike Buchanan will be asked to give oral evidence to the Health Committee inquiry on suicide prevention. Please help us to change that.

Suicide has for many years been the leading cause of death of males between the ages of 15 and 49. The male:female suicide differential has more than doubled over the past 30 years, now standing at 3.5:1. It’s a topic we return to frequently, and covered in our 2015 general election manifesto (pp. 46-8).

The Health Committee of the House of Commons – it has a female chair, and most of the members are women – recently announced an inquiry on suicide prevention, and I submitted this. It explored 11 areas where the state’s actions and inactions are assaulting men’s and boys’ human rights – e.g. denying men access to their children after family breakdowns – and driving the relentlessly high male suicide rate.

There are a considerable number of individuals and organisations who’ve provided written submissions to the inquiry – link below – and focusing on mental health considerations. The committee will predictably favour these individuals and organizations over those (such as ourselves) which point out the state itself is the key driver of male suicide.

I’ve had to ask two or three times whether I’ll be invited to give oral evidence to the committee, and I’ve just received the following email:

Dear Mr Buchanan,

The written submissions are here. You may publish a link to the above page on your blog, and you can publish your own evidence on your blog.

The names of oral witnesses are published on our website each week, on the Thursday before they are due to give evidence. If you are to be invited to give oral evidence, my colleagues who are working on the inquiry will be in touch. Please note that we received a large amount of written evidence and it is unlikely that you will be invited to give oral evidence. [my emphasis]

Thank you for your interest in the Committee’s work.

Best regards,

<name redacted>
Senior Committee Assistant

I wouldn’t normally make such a request, but I think it’s important we have another shot at giving oral evidence. I’ve written a polite but firm email, and would ask you to do likewise. The committee’s email address is healthcom@parliament.uk. Thank you for your support of our efforts to have the truth told about male suicide for the first time in parliament.

Philip Davies’s application for a debate on men’s issues, in connection with International Men’s Day

Philip Davies MP (C, Shipley) is one of only two MPs to speak on men’s and boys’ issues in the House of Commons, the other being Karl McCartney (C, Lincoln) who recently led a debate about the education gender gap.

Philip Davies spoke at our conference in July, the video of his well-received talk about the justice gender gap is here (44:49).

Our thanks to John for this, recorded in the House of Commons yesterday afternoon. It’s Philip Davies’s bid for a debate on men’s issues to be heard in the main chamber of the House of Commons on 17 November, two days before International Men’s Day, because IMD falls this year on a Saturday. He points out that debates on International Women’s Day have always held in the main chamber. We hope Philip’s bid is successful, it deserves to be.

Philip’s application to hold a debate on International Men’s Day last year was met with an infamous response by Jess Phillips, a particularly odious Labour MP. The video is here (10:33). She haughtily rejected his bid, and the other members of the committee (all men) didn’t argue with her, but her rejection was later overruled after a public outcry.

The respect shown by committee members (including the chairman) towards Philip yesterday was considerably higher than that shown towards him a year ago. It surely tells us that men’s rights are now well and truly on the political radar. The absence from the room of Jess Phillips, one of our Toxic Feminists of the Month, must have played a large part in the change, and we hope Philip’s bid is successful. It deserves to be.
