If men did not turn a blind (gentlemanly) eye to women’s shortcomings in many types of work, chances are women would not be claiming work performance equality any time soon. There are numerous examples for this, like in professional tennis, the military, the justice system, etc. The entire feminist movement rests on the fact that men, due to their gentleman upbringing, are reluctant to state the obvious openly. But due to the increasing feminist rhetoric and anti-man vitriol, this is something men need to start doing, unfortunately.
