Theresa May: Approve and promote Philip Davies MP

Douglas Milnes of the Anti Misandry website clearly has a determined nature. His original petition concerning Philip Davies was taken down by the site for ‘inappropriate content’ – it’s not clear why it’s ‘inappropriate’ – while a feminist petition on the same website calling for Philip’s sacking remains ‘live’. Not one to be deterred, Douglas has just launched a new petition. I’ve signed it, and urge you to do the same. Thank you for your support for Philip, and for Douglas, for that matter.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

At a time when Davies is inevitably the target of a feminist witch-hunt, I suggest people email him personally (contact button on his website) with their support. We don’t want another Tim Hunt on our hands.

  • Philip is aware of this campaign and obviously grateful for everyone’s kind thoughts. He is a robust man and even though the stongest can falter, several people are in daily contact with him and he is not isolated.

Philip has requested that rather than send messages to himself, that those in the UK send a message instead to their own Member of Parliament. Please be aware that there are rules in place limiting an MP’s ability to communicate with the public outside his own constiuency. There are also rules that require an MP to engage with their own constituents.

I suggest emailing your own MP, praising Philip Davies’ stance and asking their own representative to, well, represent them! Please do not be rude about it but don’t be shy: it is your right to be heard and to ask your MP to stand up for your rights.

You can find who your MP is, and even write to them, via this site:

I have signed the petition and as per advice from douglas above I have sent a message to my local MP asking him to support Phillip because he has done the one thing that sometimes is political sucide for any MP, and that is to speak about the unpalatable truth about supposed gender equlity.

thank you mike for keeping us on the ball with this.
( who would have thought that a conference in london would rattle so many cages?!)

  • Thank you for your support, both on the petition and in promoting fairness at your local level.

One thing I hope we can prove with widespread support for Mr. Davies is that it is NOT political suicide to support genuine equality in the face of feminism. To do that well, we need wide publicity to give everyone a chance to sign, so please promote the petition to anyone
▸ who cares for men and boys,
▸ who cares about families – men, women and children,
▸ who cares about the principle that if we are to have ‘equality’ then it must be applied equally,
▸ and (now) who stands against censoring a poll based on negative ideology.

This isn’t a politically divisive campaign. It doesn’t matter what your politics, you can support a free-thinker in Parliament who has voted more against his Party than any other current MP.

  • Update: 38 Degrees have now given their reason for pulling the petition from their website:
