The media storm over Philip Davies’s perfectly reasonable speech at the conference rumbles on, much of it very silly, for example this from Cosmopolitan, a magazine well-known for its insightful coverage of gender-related matters. Much of the media coverage implicitly or explicitly dismisses the possibility that a justice gender gap exists, so it seems a good a time as any to republish a piece by William Collins, UK Prisoners – The Genders Compared.
