Last Wednesday we protested in London about the failure of the police / CPS to prosecute those who carry out the criminal offence of MGM. Our new placards for the day included this. We protested outside the Home Office because the police are accountable to the Home Office, and ultimately Theresa ‘this is what a feminist looks like’ May MP, Home Secretary. We then walked a short distance to protest in Parliament Square.
My thanks to Richard Ford for his blog piece on the matter, here. More photos and a video will be published in due course. In the meantime, herewith a few photos taken by Rod – the first outside the Home Office, the next two in Parliament Square, shortly before my arrest. The final photograph of me in a police van, following my arrest, was taken by Patrick Smyth. My thanks to all who joined us that afternoon.
very brave of you to risk arrest for a good cause mike
kudos to you.

I was in the police station for only two hours, I’ll be getting something in the post about what action, if any, they’ll be taking.
Hope they let you out before the conference.
