Kathy Gyngell: We don’t need no equality police. Able women know the free market is their friend.

Another solid piece from Kathy Gyngell. I was particularly pleased to see her mention of an Oxford professor who would have won a Whiny Feminist of the Month award the other day, if I’d had some time free. Kathy writes:

Ursula Martin, a Professor of Computer Science at Oxford University, used her platform last week at the Hay Festival to take out one unsuspecting young computer scientist for his unforgivable category error, on which she based her claim of ‘staggering’ sexism’ in the computer science industry.  She ‘bawled’ him out, she said, for the crime of presenting his vision of ‘enhanced humanity’ in the male form.

  1. I suppose if majority of women were as able as most men are, they would not need the equality police guarding over them. How simple. It is very surprising though, that those claiming equality are not embarrassed by being artificially propped up by the state, at the expense of those who would get the jobs without any outside help ! Pretty shameful and dishonest,I would think.
